David Russo is a filmmaker and artist based in Seattle. His film artworks Pan With Us (2003) and Populi (2002) both premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and have appeared in dozens of other festivals around the world, including Clermont-Ferrand, Telluride Film Festival, SXSW, and the San Francisco International Film Festival, among many others. Populi has been installed as a permanent media artwork at Qwest Field in Seattle. I Am (Not) Van Gogh, an environmental animation set amongst the crowds at the Bumbershoot Arts Festival, premiered at the 2005 Bumbershoot festival. He is the Chief of Circle at the non-profit Crossroad Circle, lead vocalist of the band Planet 39, and co-founder/co-owner of Moon Village Bakery. Charles Poekel is a filmmaker and cinematographer known for his work in independent cinema. He made his directorial debut with Christmas, Again (2014), a feature inspired by his personal experience working at a Christmas tree stand in New York City. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival, and was nominated for a John Cassavetes Award at the Independent Spirit Awards. Poekel is currently the interim chair of film at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and serves as the director of the Bainbridge Island Film Festival.
