CRYSTAL BALL! is a new feature film by Dr. Clean Productions with a large ensemble cast including cult legend and Seattle rapper Fantasy A, along with many others. The movie tells the story of the people who live and work around Aurora Avenue, Seattle’s most infamous thoroughfare.
Over the course of one day (New Year’s Eve), the film follows a lovesick psychic, a dog-obsessed tow truck driver, an ex-cult leader trying to avoid his old followers, a one-handed virgin, a sex-crazed pizza delivery boy, a building super determined to dig his own father’s grave, and an assortment of pimps, prostitutes, street dudes, and partyers. Plus a mummy. These characters all try to get what they want before the clock strikes midnight and another year starts. It’s a dark, mystical adventure, as gritty as it is surreal.
CRYSTAL BALL! is the second feature film by Dr. Clean Productions. Our first film, cult sensation Fantasy A Gets a Mattress, continues to sell out cinemas around the world. Fantasy A Gets a Mattress was a micro budget feature with incredible results, a great script, characters, visuals, and music. Every scene was filmed on real-life locations guerrilla style, and with a meticulous eye for detail. Our goal now is to attain a larger budget to push those great qualities even further. CRYSTAL BALL! will feature animation, puppetry, dance, and roller skating sequences with wall-to-wall music. Mixing a guerrilla on-the-street style with a higher budget is guaranteed to create incredible results, a style that resembles delicious candy dropped on the sidewalk.
With your help, we are ready to make it a reality! CRYSTAL BALL! represents a step forward in Seattle film, showcasing a huge talent pool and incredible slew of locations. We want to make this movie a reality, and we invite you to help us make this dream come true.
What We Need
We aim to raise a minimum of $100,000 to complete our film. While we've secured partial funding from private investors, additional support is crucial to finish the project. This is where you can make a difference! We're counting on our friends and fans to help us raise the remaining funds necessary to ensure our cast, crew, and all production expenses are covered adequately for the film's completion.
Here's how the $100,000 will be spent:
Actors - $30,000
Crew - $30,000
Post Production - $15,000
Catering - $5,000
Catering/craft service – $5,000
This breakdown focuses solely on how the funds raised here will be allocated, in addition to what we've already secured. Even if we don't reach our $100,000 goal, the funds raised will still cover the production expenses listed above. We will continue seeking additional funding through alternative methods as needed.

Our track record demonstrates our ability to produce high-quality films on small budgets and effectively promote them to reach a wide audience, especially through live, in-person screenings. We've successfully hosted over 50 sold-out screenings using only posters and word-of-mouth promotion, proving we know how to generate excitement. CRYSTAL BALL! is set to create a significant buzz.
Risks & Challenges
Like any film project, there's a risk that we may not complete the movie if we can't secure enough funding. However, we're not starting from zero! We already have an amazing script, great locations, talented actors, a skilled crew, and fantastic music. Even with a extremely modest budget, we have a proven track record of being able to create something truly remarkable!
